Why Join the South Auckland Homeschool Collective?
Your annual membership gives your whānau access to our full calendar of member-only events throughout the year. These events are intended to give our ākonga opportunities to learn, create, explore, and share their interests in a welcoming, relaxed and non-judgmental environment.
As a member, your tamariki will be able to participate in events such as:
- STEM Fair – Showcasing science, technology, engineering and mathematics projects
- History Fair – Bringing history to life through displays, presentations, and hands-on learning.
- Art Show – Celebrating creativity in all its forms, from painting and sculpture to photography and mixed media.
- Cultural Day – Sharing what you love about your culture and experiencing the diverse cultures that make up our community.
- Kids’ Makers Market – An opportunity for young entrepreneurs, artists, crafters, and creators to sell their handmade goods, develop business skills, and experience the excitement of running their own market stall.
- Plus more as our calendar grows and we receive members’ feedback.
Your membership provides access to a year of opportunities for your tamariki to participate, present their work (if they so choose), build confidence, make friends, and be part of a supportive homeschooling community.
Our events are included in your membership, so there are no additional entry fees for participating in our core calendar.
Most importantly, your membership helps make these events possible. Every membership contributes to venue hire, resources, administration costs, and the continued growth of the homeschooling community in South Auckland.
